Getting Creative in Colorado, Coffee + More
After 5 years of cross-country collaboration, we're thrilled to announce that Carly has officially relocated to Denver. We’re so grateful to the Colorado creative community—and to our friends further afield—for continuing to refer us to clients, for recognizing our unique perspective and for providing so many exciting opportunities for collaboration. We look forward to deepening our roots in the Rockies, the greater Southwest and beyond!
The past months were filled with a number of exciting Colorado projects—from branding a modern lodge and event space in Evergreen to photographing a public rooftop garden in downtown Denver. Summer travel also took us to Portugal, where we had the pleasure of exploring local coffee culture for Life & Thyme’s first newspaper edition—available in select cafés across the country, including Denver’s own Huckleberry Roasters at The Maven Hotel and Amethyst Coffee at Realm Photo Studio.

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY | EXPLORE FITNESS | DENVER, CO
In the fitness world, the tides of trends are ever-changing. Yet safe, effective personal and small group training remains the rare exception in a sea of get-ripped-quick concepts. Based in downtown Denver, Explore Fitness offers just that. We gave the brand a jolt of fresh energy with a social media audit of local fitness competitors, revamping Explore's Instagram strategy to help their team stand out in the market.

In November 2017, Denver passed a Green Roof Initiative requiring most large buildings to install environmentally-friendly roof features, yet many of these spaces are not open to the public. At Larimer Square—the historic heart of downtown—we were thrilled to photograph the opening of Larimer Uprooted, one of the few truly accessible gardens in town. The event fittingly took place during Slow Food Nations, an annual celebration of the local, sustainable food movement.

In America, French cuisine has predominantly been defined by lavish restaurants noted for their impressive presentation and rich flavors. Yet in France, "French" cuisine exists on every corner, from the small sandwich shop, to the everyday bistro, to the lauded three-star Michelin temples of gastronomy. At Denver’s newly opened Le French, sisters Rougui and Ami Dia strive to share a contemporary perspective of Parisian bistro cooking, reflecting their own global perspectives in the process.
