Denver Coffee Tour, Neighborhood Guide + Recent Projects
The new year will mark five years since we founded Cognoscenti Creative, and it's incredible to look back on how much things have changed since then. We're so grateful for the skills and experiences we gained in New York City, as well as the feeling of home that we've found and fostered in Colorado. As we begin the next chapter of our business, we're proud to continue evolving alongside the Front Range's creative and entrepreneurial community—and to be a small, women-owned business in Denver.
This month alone, we’ve chronicled the local coffee scene, taken the stage at Creative Mornings Denver, and seen our alpine-themed holiday banners raised high above Larimer Square.
And we’re not done celebrating our home city. On our website, you can now view a guide to our favorite spots in Denver, and we invite you to share it with fellow locals and visitors alike.
EDITORIAL | LA MARZOCCO | DENVER, CO
Over the past few years, we’ve been lucky to work with (and learn from) a number of coffee industry leaders—most notably, the internationally celebrated team at La Marzocco. So when they reached out with a new creative collaboration, we were thrilled for a chance to reconnect—and to celebrate the coffee scene in Denver. There are truly too many amazing Colorado shops and roasters to name in a single article, but if you’re looking for a place to start, these six local leaders can show you the ropes.
BRANDING | THE PRANA FOUNDATION | CANADA
As leaders in the chiropractic and functional medicine community, Dr. Monique Andrews and Dr. Tamara MacIntyre are among the most respected practitioners and educators in their field. Their latest venture—The Prana Foundation—marks an exciting new chapter in their careers, offering personal and professional development opportunities to practitioners across the wellness spectrum. We're proud to support this innovative, women-owned business, developing a comprehensive brand identity for the foundation, including a custom two-part logo, visual style guide, mission statement, core values and founder bios.
CONTENT STRATEGY | LEEVERS LOCAVORE | DENVER, CO
An everyday market boasting the better elements of a food hall, Leevers Locavore may just be Denver’s most exciting new grocery concept. Yet with its wide array of local, organic products, noteworthy butcher shop, three onsite restaurants and liquor license-backed “sip ‘n’ shop” policy, the store’s many attributes began to present a communications challenge. We jumped onboard for Locavore’s opening, crafting a press release and media outreach template, as well as a mission-driven social media strategy.

BRANDING | OLIVIA RESTAURANT | DENVER, CO
How do you bring a fresh perspective to hundreds of years of Italian culinary traditions? We loved thinking about this question with the talented team at Olivia, the latest hospitality concept from the owners of Bistro Georgette. The visual branding we created reflects the balance of that tension, blending timeless elegance with a touch of modern style. Beyond a logo and style guide, we also look forward to developing Olivia’s menu design in the new year. Note: the Olivia team is currently operating Cafe Marmotte in Wash Park West through the end of the year, before transitioning the space to this new concept in early 2020.
BRANDING, PHOTOGRAPHY + WEBSITE DESIGN | ELEMENTAL CHIROPRACTIC | DENVER, CO
Getting to know other Denver small business owners is truly the best part of our work. So when Elemental Chiropractic asked us to provide a visual refresh for their brand, we were thrilled to learn more about their holistic practice. Tapping into the mind-body connection that drives Dr. Stephanie and Dr. Zane’s work, we created an integrated visual identity—custom logo, brand photography and Squarespace website design—that feels established, welcoming and grounded.
