A Year of Growth and Gratitude

As the holidays approach, it's natural to reflect on another year gone by. For us, 2018 has been a year of both connection and growth, as we deepen our roots in the Colorado community and take time for adventures further afield.

Yet, no matter the destination, our objectives always remain the same: to champion and partner with passionate artisans, innovators and entrepreneurs. Below are just a few of the stories we're excited to tell this season, and we're grateful to so many more businesses who invested in our creative services this year.

DeFilippo The Way Home

PHOTOGRAPHY | THE WAY HOME

While Aspen has long reigned among America's most luxurious outdoor retreats, nearby Carbondale maintains an understated appeal that the jet set often overlooks. After opening several buzzy Denver restaurant concepts, it's exactly that charm that inspired restaurateur and Carbondale local Kade Gianinetti for his most recent project, The Way Home. We were thrilled to provide lifestyle photography for the restaurant, event space and upstairs guest rooms, documenting the contemporary charm of this worth-the-roadtrip weekend escape.

DeFilippo Alex Seidel

EDITORIAL | CHEF ALEX SEIDEL

It's one thing to open a successful restaurant or food business; it's another entirely to help build the foundation for a flourishing restaurant community. James Beard Award-winning chef Alex Seidel has ambitiously checked both boxes, delighting patrons of Fruition, Mercantile Dining & Provisions and the newly-opened Chook, while also launching a commercial bakery and the award-winning Fruition Farms Creamery. Rather than ambitiously growing a restaurant empire, every venture marks a meaningful opportunity for Chef Seidel to develop relationships with farmers and expand sourcing for quality local ingredients within the Denver metro area.

Cognoscenti Creative Larimer Square

BRANDING + DESIGN | LARIMER SQUARE

One of the most frequented stretches of downtown Denver, Larimer Square has long been a haven for small businesses, dining and shopping. Each year, this historic block complements its beautiful 19th century architecture with charming Christmas decorations, and we were thrilled to craft the Square's 2018 holiday designs. If you're strolling through, look up to see our woodland-inspired banners and flags, celebrating the winter beauty of the nearby Rocky Mountains.
