A graduate of Columbia University with additional professional certificates in Culinary Arts and Holistic Nutrition, Carly’s career has spanned the fields of editorial, marketing and branded content. Previous in-house roles have included content management and creative direction for the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), Chef Daniel Boulud - The Dinex Group and food product design firm W&P. From copywriting to content strategy, Carly excels at guiding clients through the brand identity process, translating core values and marketing objectives into strategic, multi-channel storytelling.
Favorite thing you've ever eaten / or most exciting food experience? In recent memory, the freshly made soba at Sagatani Shibuya in Tokyo.
What is one common misconception people have about branding? That it’s more important to be original than to be real. Truly successful branding feels a lot like therapy—building your company’s story from the ground up.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? Ernest Hemingway… minus the womanizing and alcoholism. Brevity is beauty.
