An established leader in the field of espresso machine manufacturing, La Marzocco was seeking to share their brand story with an international audience of coffee professionals and enthusiasts. With nearly 100 years of history, their chosen format was a coffee table-worthy brand book that illustrates the company’s leadership throughout the history of espresso.
We were commissioned to craft the story of La Marzocco as part of a larger initiative through Life & Thyme magazine. Visiting the brand’s factory outside Florence, as well as their US offices in Seattle, this six-month brand immersion culminated in the publishing of a 60-page text that spans the birth of espresso to the modern era of “third wave” coffee shops.
